GSI COMMERCE CUTS 100 POSITIONS IN KENTUCKY

	GSI commerce cuts 100 positions in Kentucky www.EmploymentCrossing.com E-commerce fulfillment and technology provider GSI Commerce has cut about 100 positions at its Shepherdsville, Ky., facility. According to the company, the layoffs are a result of losing the business of Linens N' Things, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. Since informing workers of the layoffs, about 38 have transferred to the companys Jefferson Riverport International distribution facility, where the company had 40 openings. The company manages e-commerce services for companies such as Toys R Us, Ace Hardware, HP, Sports Authority, Dicks Sporting Goods, HP, the National Football League, GNC, and Aeropostale.
